La Poste selects ePages for its new E-Commerce Platform

The French postal service launches Box E-Commerce for small and mid-sized companies

Paris, December 10, 2009 − The French postal service La Poste has launched its new e-commerce service "Box E-Commerce" based on the ePages cloud computing platform. With this innovative solution La Poste extends its portfolio of services by offering online stores and business websites to SMEs.

This new service from La Poste is specifically designed for small and mid-sized companies (SMEs). It offers the easy creation and management of online stores in a cloud computing environment, accessed via a web browser. Merchants dont need to make expensive hardware or software investments, or worry about updates or security issues since the platform is hosted and managed by ePages. Furthermore La Poste has integrated an entire portfolio of services, such as the payment gateway Scellius of Banque Postale, express mail by Chronopost and the parcel service Colissimo as well as integrations into PayPal and Google Analytics.
